Pokemon! (No Digi Vs Poke Wars)

What's your favorite Pokemon game? Mine's Red/Blue/Yellow, because they were the first ones I played. So what's your favorite Pokemon game/Pokemon memories?

My favorite pokemon game was crystal. it was the first one I played

Well, My favorite Pokemon game is...

None!

I like them all so much, because they all have something new to add.

Red and Blue were completely new, and had me playing for a long time.

Gold and Silver were a much longer games, and they had ALOT of new things to add, AS WELL as the old Kanto we know and love.

Ruby and Sapphire were very interesting, and took me about 4 years to beat both. I STILL have nightmares about Steven.

Diamond and Pearl played around with MIDIs, and the music was very enjoyable. Not a very interesting game, but the 3D graphics made it very worthwhile.

Black and White took me a couple months to beat, but it was SPECTACULAR. The 3D was superb, the music was like an angelic chorus, and the plotline had me going for hours, trying to get more gameplay in!

So there, reasons I enjoy EVERY pokemon game.

Pokemon has always been a series that I have cherished more than even Digimon. I've lost interest over the past several years of Pokemon even though I have played all of the games. It's just the games are not changing enough and are handing me more of the same while I want something new and more challenging. It seems like every Pokemon game can be beat under 20 hours and then you have to rely on competitive battling to keep you going. I just have become bored of it.

I did beat Pokemon Black in two days and it had the best story ever seen in a Pokemon game which is not saying much considering most Pokemon games story rank from being mediocre to down right awful. However, my favorite Pokemon game remains to be Pokemon Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire. I just felt Gen 3 had some great new mechanics such as abilities, EVs, IVs, and a new world that didn't feel as short as G/S/C. Many people say Gen 2 was the best, and they are entitled to their opinion, but I think Gen 2 just felt like an expansion pack to Gen 1. It had several new notable features such as the day and night system but the small region that doesn't take long to get through filled with boring not inspired Pokemon (with exceptions) and the half-a$$ed copy and pasted Kanto map just ruined the experience IMO.

I agree with this, pokemon games are just too repetitive! I'm working with a couple friends to create a hack of a fire red rom and we plan on adding new regions, and new plotlines to add to the game. However, we have been trying to make the games different, like hacking the battle system, the item properties, and making the game very hard to complete. However, it's very easy for me. The other's say it's because I'm "Aisan" but that's just not it. I'm just good at video games
